My everything

I rarely work with these colors for obvious reasons but this paper (MME) inspired me to do so.

I used some tags from Elle's Studio, paper from MME and Webster's, scalloped fabric by Pink Paislee.

It came together very easily.

I'm pretty sure I'll be working with pink more often!

Some Studio Calico lovin'

Oh my.... so I didn't get the monthly kit from Studio Calico, but I did get one of the add-ons (Montmartre) and I have to say, it is so much fun!Here are 2 pages I made last night, during a much-needed creative pause:

Entre filles / Elle's Sketch Thursday

Wow, I was really challenged by this sketch (which to me, is the whole purpose!).
I chose another picture of my girlfriend and I last summer in France.
The journaling is about these 10 days spent together, catching up on everything... just girls being girls :)

Hambly's Monthly Sketch

I used a picture of my very best friend and I last summer in Cannes. We see each other so rarely, it's  a real shame but we enjoy every minute spent together.
Even if you know French, the title wouldn't make much sense: there are only 2 "ninettes" in the world: the two of us... "les ninettes qui ninent" cannot be translated because these words don't exist in French! We made it up.

But you can tell this is about FRIENDSHIP...

Yes, I do really really really really like this beach... and am having fun with some of my Smash tape!
I created my own die cut paper by using a set of Spellbinders die and running them a few at a time through my Sizzix for the whole length of paper. The advantage is that I get a die cut large piece of paper, but I also get to keep the punched out pieces that I've already used on another page (probably next post). I used Core-dinations paper so that I could sand it as well.

When my mom saw this picture, she asked me: "how long ago was this picture taken? you look so young!".
Hmmmm ok, mom, thanks but it was taken last summer.
Not sure how to interpret this :)

Studio Calico's Sunday Sketch

I recently discovered Studio Calico's Sunday Sketch (I know, where have I been?) and I really find these sketches challenging - which, to me, is the whole purpose.
I don't usually work with several pictures on one page so this was a real challenge to me.
I actually managed to summarize my summer trip to my hometown in France in one page - unbelievable!

Bo Bunny Mini Album

I've had the Mamarazzi full collection for a while now but I needed the right time (and inspiration) to take it out... I finally found it - although I have tons of paper left. This was a day at the river with friends. The weather was gorgeous...

Scrapping My Mind's Eye's new collection...

It's almost too easy working with these papers! I only bought 3 sheets and the chipboard but I am ready for more. Love, love, love the colors, the quotes, the simplicity of the patterns. My pictures just don't do it justice :)

So I've been drooling over some sewing projects lately and decided it was time for me to get better acquainted with my sewing machine.
